DESCRIPTION
This jacket is of British origin and was originally sold by the retail chain John Collier, most likely sometime during the 1960s. It is tailored in a heavy Harris Tweed fabric in a rather distinctive colour — various burnt orange tones in a herringbone pattern.
The jacket is single-breasted and fastens with three buttons. It features light brown leather buttons — typical of the period. There are slightly slanted front pockets with flaps, as well as a breast pocket. The left lapel has a buttonhole. At the back, it has twin vents. Each cuff is finished with a single button.
Internally, it is fully lined, and the sleeve lining has recently been replaced. There is one inside pocket on the right-hand side.
Overall, the condition is good; however, on closer inspection there are some minor imperfections. There is slight wear to the buttonholes, as well as minor discolouration to the lining. There is also a small but noticeable flaw in the fabric on the front. Please study the photographs carefully and form your own opinion regarding the condition.
