DESCRIPTION
This tweed jacket is of Swedish origin and was most likely produced sometime during the 1960s. The brand is “High Class”, and the label states “100% worsted wool”. It is mid-brown in colour and features a distinct checked pattern composed of black and rust-coloured overchecks.
The jacket is single-breasted and fastens with three buttons. It has horizontal front pockets with flaps and a breast pocket. There is a buttonhole on the left lapel. At the back it is straight-cut with a single vent. The cuffs are finished with three buttons. The interior is fully lined and includes three inside pockets – one large pocket on each side, plus a smaller pocket on the left-hand side.
Overall, the condition gives a good impression. However, upon closer inspection there are some flaws. For example, there is discolouration to the lining around the armholes. There are also a few small areas of damage to the fabric. These are not particularly conspicuous, and the robust character of the cloth makes them less noticeable, but they should nevertheless be taken into account if considering a purchase. All flaws are clearly documented in the photographs. Please study the images and form your own view as to the condition.
