DESCRIPTION
This tweed jacket was produced sometime during the second half of the 1960s by Pingvin, a Swedish ready-to-wear brand. It is made from a blue-grey wool cloth by Harris Tweed and features a pronounced herringbone pattern. It was originally sold at the department store Julius Kopp in Copenhagen.
The jacket is single-breasted and fastens with three buttons. It has horizontal front pockets with flaps, and the breast pocket is also fitted with a flap - a typical detail of the period. There is a buttonhole in the left lapel. The back is straight and features double vents. Internally, the jacket is fully lined and has a total of four inner pockets: one large pocket on each side, plus two smaller pockets on the left side.
When it comes to condition, there is very little to criticise. It is close to perfect, with no visible damage. Please study the photographs carefully and form your own assessment of the condition.
