DESCRIPTION
This is a fantastic odd jacket, produced by Beston sometime during the 1950s. It is made from Harris Tweed, a distinct herringbone-patterned wool fabric in a lovely rust-brown tone. It is a heavy tweed fabric of a type that is very difficult to find today. The jacket has a timeless cut. It is single-breasted and fastens with three buttons. It features horizontal front pockets with flaps and a breast pocket. The left lapel has a buttonhole. The back is straight and lacks a vent. Inside, it is fully lined and has two inner pockets, one on each side. The sleeves appear to have been extended at some point, as the lining is joined.
The condition of the jacket is excellent, with no noticeable damage. Please refer to the images and form your own opinion of the jacket's condition.
