This unusual jacket most likely dates back to the 1950s and is of Swedish origin. It was produced by Vingkläder. It has a tag on the inside from Karl Gerhards ateljéer (The Karl Gerhard atelier). Karl Gerhard (1891-1964) was a Swedish comedian and actor famous for his revues. The Karl Gerhard atelier first opened in 1947 and is still in the business. This jacket has, at least at some point, belonged to the atelier. It was most likely made for the stage, considering its very distinguished fabric, with wide gray and purple stripes. It has a one button single breasted closure, horizontal front pockets and a breast pocket. It has double vents in the back. It is fully lined and has two inner pockets, one on each side. The overall condition is good, but there are some visible damages, especially on the sleeves. There is also some discoloration to the lining. Please have a look at the images and evaluate the condition.
