BESPOKE GREY LAPEL SINGLE BREASTED WAISTCOAT. SIZE CA EU 52-54

DESCRIPTION

This slightly unusual waistcoat is made bespoke. Unfortunately, there is no label, so it is impossible to say by whom or when it was made. However, our assessment is that it is somewhat more recent than the garments we generally offer. It is well constructed, with much of the sewing done by hand. Made from a grey, subtly striped fabric, it features a single-breasted design with six buttons. The lapels are reminiscent in style of those seen on waistcoats from the early 20th century.

At the back, it has an adjustable strap for altering the fit. The interior is lined with a bright red wool fabric in a twill weave. On the left side, there is a finely made inner pocket with a button closure and flap – the kind of detail typically found only on bespoke waistcoats.

The condition is good, with no noticeable damage or signs of wear. Please study the photographs carefully and form your own opinion regarding the condition.
