DESCRIPTION

This fine tweed jacket is of Swedish origin, made by the brand Magnific, and produced sometime during the 1930s or 1940s. It is crafted from a classic light brown tweed fabric with a subtly overlaid large check pattern in red.

The jacket is single-breasted with a three-button front. It features large patch pockets at the front, giving it a slightly sportier look. The back is straight and unvented. Internally, it is fully lined and has two inner pockets – one on each side.

The overall condition is good, but there are a few things to note. There is a repair on the right chest. On another type of fabric, this repair might have been more noticeable, but the heavy tweed is forgiving, and the area is only visible upon close inspection. There is also some discolouration around the armholes – naturally, this is not visible when the jacket is worn, but it is worth mentioning.
