DESCRIPTION
This blazer was made in the USA, as indicated by the so-called union label. It likely dates back to the 1960s or late 1950s. However, the fabric is of British origin — woven in the British Isles and made from 100% wool, as stated on the label. Interestingly, the blazer was originally sold in Canada, at a shop named Wally’s Menswear in Edmonton.
The fabric features tones of yellow, grey, and black, but overall presents as grey. It has a pronounced check pattern that is clearly visible even from a distance.
The blazer is single-breasted and fastens with three buttons. It has patch-style horizontal front pockets and a breast pocket. There is a buttonhole on the left lapel. The back is straight with a single vent. In true American tradition, the blazer is half-lined and features one inner pocket on each side.
The condition is very good, with only a minor issue worth noting — a small area of wear in the sleeve lining near the armhole. However, this is barely noticeable and does not detract from the overall impression. Please study the photos and form your own assessment of the condition.
