DESCRIPTION
This tie dates from the 1940s and is of Swedish origin. It was originally sold by Westend in Stockholm. It is made from Rhodia silk, a trade name for a high-quality artificial silk (rayon) that was commonly used for ties during this period. It is possible that the tie was manufactured abroad and subsequently imported into Sweden. The tie features a fine small-check pattern in shades of red and grey, giving it a subtle yet distinctive appearance.
The condition is exceptional - virtually as new. Please examine the photographs carefully and form your own assessment of the condition.
