DESCRIPTION
These classic black boots are of Swedish origin. They bear no label or logo indicating the maker; however, the markings confirm that they are Swedish. They were most likely produced sometime during the 1940s or 1950s. The interior is lined with a light canvas fabric. They feature leather soles and rubber heels, the latter also Swedish-made by Tretorn.
The leather is in good condition and remains very soft and supple, with no signs of cracking. An inspection of the soles shows that the boots have been worn, but they are still in good condition and should have a long life ahead of them provided they are properly cared for. Please study the photographs and form your own opinion of the condition.
SIZE
In terms of sizing, they correspond quite closely to an EU 41.5 (US 8.5 / UK 8). The boots have a relatively wide last. Please scroll down for the exact measurements.

Using good shoe trees is an important part of caring for your quality footwear. The shoe trees serve several functions that together help extend the life of your shoes. The cedar wood effectively absorbs moisture from the shoes, while the design of the shoe trees ensures that the shoes maintain their shape. The pleasantly scented wood also helps to minimise bad odours. We offer a split-toe model that expands once inserted to ensure that the upper leather is stretched sufficiently.
