DESCRIPTION
The origin of these trousers is unknown. The only thing we can say with reasonable certainty is that they are not Swedish. By all appearances, they were made sometime during the 1940s or 1950s. The cloth is somewhat unusual in that it combines brown and blue, a combination not often seen in the same cloth. It has a warm brown tone with relatively broad blue stripes running through it. As is often the case with older suiting cloths, the stripes are just prominent enough to create a harmonious overall impression.
They have double front pleats and vertical front pockets running in line with the side seams. They have belt loops and a button fly. On the right-hand side, just below the waistband, there is a small coin pocket with a flap and button fastening. At the back, there are two pockets, both with flaps and button fastenings.
As for the condition, the overall impression is good. There is, however, one point worth mentioning: at the back, there is some damage to the cloth near one of the pockets. Please study the photos and form your own impression of the condition.
SIZE
The trousers correspond approximately to a modern EU 50 (US/UK 40). Please scroll down for exact measurements and seam allowances.
