DESCRIPTION
These tweed trousers have no label other than a small one with the text "14", which likely refers to "14 years" as a size marking. Despite the absence of a brand label, we can be certain that this pair is of Swedish origin. They were made sometime during the 1940s and have never been worn. They even have a piece of extra fabric tucked into one of the pockets! The fabric is a heavy brown tweed in a salt-and-pepper pattern. It is a very fine fabric of a quality that is hard to find today.
The trousers have a front crease and diagonal front pockets. They feature a button fly and belt loops. There is a back pocket on each side, both with button closures.
The condition is absolutely perfect – like new. They have probably never even been tried on. Please look at the pictures and form your own opinion on the condition.
SIZE
This is a small size, as indicated by the "14" label (14 years). In modern sizing, they correspond to an EU 42 (US/UK 32). However, there is some material available to let out the waist and length if desired. Please scroll down for the exact measurements and seam allowances.
