DESCRIPTION
This pair of motorcycle trousers is of Swedish origin, made by the company L. Groll in Stockholm, established in 1832. Groll was a well-known retailer in Gamla Stan, Stockholm's oldest district. Initially, they sold textiles related to shipping, such as sailcloth and flag fabric. Over time, the focus shifted more toward workwear. The shop remained at this address until the 1980s, meaning it was in business for about 150 years. In fact, the Groll brand still exists today, and they continue to sell workwear.
These trousers are of the classic motorcycle style, known at the time they were sold as "balloon trousers." They are cut very high at the back and feature metal buttons for braces on the outside of the waistband. They have a button fly and horizontal front pockets. At the back, there is a pocket on the right side with a zipper. They also have an adjustable buckle for sizing.
The condition is excellent considering the age and type of garment. The leather is incredibly soft and in great shape. There are no significant damages to mention, just a few minor scuffs on the leather. The lining is virtually like new, these trousers can’t have been worn many kilometers! Please review the pictures and form your own opinion about the condition.
