SWEDISH 1960S GREY PINSTRIPE DOUBLE BREASTED SUIT BY GULINS. SIZE CA EU 48 (US/UK38)

DESCRIPTION

This suit is of Swedish origin and was made during the 1960s. It is by the brand Gulins, a major Swedish ready-to-wear manufacturer. It is tailored in a heavy British pinstripe flannel cloth.

The jacket is double-breasted with three rows of buttons. It features horizontal front pockets with flaps and a breast pocket. There is a buttonhole on the left lapel, and the cuffs are finished with three buttons. The back is straight with twin vents. Internally, it is fully lined and has three inner pockets—two on the left side and one on the right.

The trousers have slanted front pockets and belt loops, with a zip fly. At the back, there is one pocket on each side, both with button closures.

Overall, the condition is good, though there are a few minor issues to note. The middle buttonhole shows some wear, and there is also a small area of damage in the fabric low down on one of the legs. The overall size is EU 48 (UK/US 38). It should be noted, however, that the jacket’s chest measurement is slightly larger, falling between EU 48 (UK/US 38) and EU 50 (UK/US 40). The trousers correspond exactly to an EU 48 (UK/US 38) at the waist, though there is some additional fabric available for letting out if required.
