DESCRIPTION
This suit is of Swedish origin, produced during the 1960s by Elson. The fabric, which is dark grey with a subtle check pattern, is of British origin.
The jacket is single-breasted and fastens with three era-appropriate fabric-covered buttons. It features horizontal front pockets with flaps and a breast pocket. There is a buttonhole on the left lapel. The sleeve cuffs also have fabric-covered buttons. The back is straight and closed — it has no vent. Inside, the jacket is fully lined and offers a total of four inner pockets: one large pocket on each side, plus two smaller ones on the left side.
The trousers feature a single pleat, slightly slanted front pockets, and a zip fly. They have belt loops, and at the back, there is one pocket on each side, both with button closures.
The overall condition is good, though there are a few minor repairs visible upon close inspection. These do not detract from the overall impression when the suit is worn. Please study the photos carefully to form your own assessment of the condition.
SIZE
The suit corresponds approximately to a modern EU size 48 (UK/US 38). The waistband of the trousers is slightly larger, but this can of course be adjusted if needed. Please scroll down for exact measurements and seam allowances.
