DESCRIPTION
This fine two-piece suit is of British origin. It was bespoke tailored in 1957 by Sydney Stanford in London. The suit is made from an eye-catching grey fabric with a well-balanced, subtle small check pattern. The fabric is of very high quality.
The jacket is single-breasted and fastens with three buttons. It has horizontal front pockets with flaps and a breast pocket. There is a buttonhole on the left lapel. The back of the jacket is straight and lacks a vent. Inside, it is fully lined and has an inner pocket on the right side.
The trousers have a single pleat and slightly slanted front pockets. They feature belt loops and a zip fly. At the back, there is a pocket with a button closure on the right side.
The condition of the suit is overall very good. There are no damages or signs of wear to the fabric. The only notable points are slight discolouration in the arm lining and the pockets of the trousers. However, this is not visible when the suit is worn, as it essentially gives the impression of being almost new. Please review the pictures and form your own opinion on the condition.
SIZE
The suit is quite small in size. When converted to modern sizes, it falls between EU 44 (US/UK 34) and EU 46 (US/UK 36). Please scroll down for the exact measurements and seam allowances.
