DESCRIPTION
This suit is of Swedish origin, made sometime during the 1950s by the Lerum clothing factory. Lerum is a small town in southern Sweden. It is made from a dark grey fabric with a subtle blue Prince of Wales check pattern. The jacket is single-breasted and fastens with three buttons. It has horizontal front pockets with flaps and a breast pocket. There is a buttonhole on the left lapel. The back of the jacket is straight and lacks vents. Inside, the jacket is fully lined and features two inner pockets, one on each side.
The trousers have double pleats, vertical front pockets, and belt loops. Inside the waistband, there are buttons for braces. They feature a zipper fly. At the back, there are two pockets, both with flaps and button closures.
The condition is excellent, with no obvious signs of wear, and even the lining is fresh. Please study the pictures and form your own opinion of the condition.
SIZE
The jacket corresponds to a modern EU 54 (US/UK 44). The trousers are essentially also EU 54 (US/UK 44). However, the waist has been taken in at some point, making the current waist measurement correspond to an EU 48 (US/UK 38). There is plenty of material to let out in the waist to match the jacket size. Please scroll down for the exact measurements and seam allowances.
