DESCRIPTION

This longer-style jacket is of Swedish origin and was likely produced sometime during the 1930s or 1940s. It was made by H.P. Erikssons Skinnvaru AB from Malung in the Dalarna region of central Sweden. Malung was the centre of Sweden’s leather industry for much of the 20th century. The jacket is double-breasted and fastens with three rows of buttons, plus an additional button at the neck if you wish to fasten it all the way up. It features horizontal front pockets with flaps and buttons, and the collar has a dark brown fur that is removable. The back of the jacket has a belt and it lacks a vent. Inside, it is fully lined with a checkered wool fabric. There is one inner pocket, located on the right side.

The condition is very good considering its age. There are no damages or signs of use. The lining is also in perfect condition. Please review the photos and form your own opinion on the condition.

In size, it corresponds to approximately a modern EU 50-52 (US/UK 40-42). Both someone who normally wears EU 50 (US/UK 40) and someone who wears EU 52 (US/UK 42) will likely be able to wear this jacket, depending on what is worn underneath. Please scroll down for the exact measurements.

Renovateur Cream is the “must-have” product for any leather goods aficionado. Containing beeswax, lanolin and mink oil, it gently cleans while adding nourishment and protection to the leather. Renovateur Cream is highly regarded by leather care specialists as the best leather care product in the world!

Ensure all dirt and dust is removed from the shoes. Buff shoes with a brush. For a more in-depth clean, use the Saphir Beauté du Cuir Cleaning Lotion (ref. 0544).

Apply Crème 1925 sparingly using a cotton cloth or the Saphir Médaille d’Or Spreading Brush (ref. 2601).

Massage into the leather in a circular motion, enabling the cream to penetrate and nourish the leather. This will ensure a good layer of protection. Leave it to dry for one hour.

Polish leather with a bristle brush then finish with a wool cloth or glove.

Once a base coat of Crème 1925 has been applied, simply re-buff the shoe following wear to maintain the shine.
