DESCRIPTION
This lightweight overcoat is of Swedish origin, produced by the well-known ready-to-wear firm Tiger sometime during the 1950s or 1960s. It is made from a grey-green cotton fabric with a twill weave.
The coat is single-breasted and fastens with three buttons. It features diagonally angled front pockets, and there is a buttonhole on the left lapel. The back is straight and has a single vent. The interior is fully lined and includes one inner pocket on the left side.
The overall condition is good, with no visible damage to the fabric. However, there is a small stain near the bottom of the right sleeve — it may come out with further spot cleaning. Please study the photos to form your own opinion of the condition.
SIZE
This coat corresponds to a modern EU 46 (UK/US 36). As with all coats of this kind, the fit depends greatly on what is worn underneath. A person who normally wears EU 48 (UK/US 38) may also achieve a good fit, provided that heavier garments are avoided. Please scroll down for exact measurements and seam allowances.
