This classic trench coat is of Swedish origin, made sometime during the 1930s or 1940s. Unfortunately, the label is no longer present, so we cannot say who the manufacturer is, but there is a plaque in real silver with the original owner's name engraved. The coat is made from a light brown twill fabric, a typical material for this type of coat and period. It is double-breasted and fastens with four rows of buttons, plus an extra button at the collar if you wish to fasten it all the way up. It features vertical front pockets and buttonholes on both lapels. Otherwise, it has classic trench coat details such as a belt and adjustable cuff straps to alter the sleeve opening. It also has a vent at the back. Inside, it is fully lined.
The condition is acceptable, but there is some wear that should be mentioned. The most noticeable is visible wear at the sleeve ends. However, this is not too obvious as the wear is on the inside. There is also a small tear in the fabric on the right shoulder. The price has been set with these flaws in mind. Please take a look at the photos and form your own opinion on the condition.
