DESCRIPTION
This overcoat is of Swedish origin and was originally sold at Blombergs, a menswear retail chain with shops in several Swedish cities, most likely sometime during the 1950s. The model itself is not particularly distinctive; what sets it apart is its striking cloth. The underlying pattern is a relatively subtle Prince of Wales check with an orange overcheck. However, the cloth also has a pronounced mélange effect, almost reminiscent of snowflakes.
The overcoat is raglan-cut and single-breasted, fastening with three buttons. It has vertical front pockets and a buttonhole in the left lapel. At the back, it is straight-cut and has a single vent. Internally, it is fully lined and has two internal pockets, one on each side. Both have button fastenings.
The overall condition is very good. The only flaw we have been able to find is that the buttonholes have been repaired at some point. This does not affect the overall impression in any way and requires fairly close inspection to notice. Please study the photos and form your own impression of the condition.

The overcoat corresponds approximately to a modern EU 44 (US/UK 34).As always with overcoats, it is important to take into account what you intend to wear underneath. This overcoat would probably fit someone who normally wears an EU 46 (US/UK 36), provided they intend to wear a jumper rather than a jacket underneath.
