DESCRIPTION
This overcoat is of Swedish origin and was made sometime during the 1940s or 1950s. It is by Klimax, a well-known Swedish ready-to-wear brand that was at its peak during this period. It is made from a thick mid-grey wool cloth with slight mottling and a very subtle twill structure.
The coat is double-breasted and features three rows of buttons, of which two are in use. It has horizontal front pockets with flaps and a buttonhole in the left lapel. The back is straight with a vent. Internally, it is fully lined and has two inner pockets, one on each side.
As for the condition, the overall impression is good, but on closer inspection there are some flaws and defects. These mainly consist of several stains. They are not particularly noticeable, but can be seen upon close examination. It is possible that these may be reduced or removed with further spot cleaning. There is also some wear to the buttonholes. Please study the photographs and form your own opinion regarding the condition. The stains appear more prominent under studio lighting than they do in real life.

In size, the coat corresponds to a modern EU 52 (US/UK 42). Please note that our sizing is calculated on the assumption that the coat is worn over a jacket.
