This coat is of Swedish origin. It was produced by Rappson, a well-known Swedish ready-to-wear manufacturer. It was made sometime during the 1940s, or possibly in the early 1950s. The coat is tailored from a heavy grey wool cloth with a herringbone pattern.
The coat is double-breasted with three rows of buttons, all of which are functional. It features horizontal front pockets with flaps and has a buttonhole in each lapel. At the back, it has a half-belt and a vent. Internally, it is fully lined—half of the lining is in a blue checked wool fabric. It has two well-made inner pockets, one on each side, both with flaps and button closures.
As for the condition, there is very little to note. The coat is in very good condition overall. The only signs of wear are slight traces of use around the buttonholes and minor wear to the hanger. Please study the photographs carefully and form your own assessment of the condition.
