DESCRIPTION
This tweed jacket is of Swedish origin, most likely produced by Strands sometime in the late 1950s or early 1960s. It is made from a substantial houndstooth tweed cloth containing a number of different colours: orange, grey, black and beige. It was sold new at a shop called Westerbergs in Katrineholm.
It is single-breasted and fastens with three buttons. It has horizontal front pockets with flaps and a breast pocket, also with a flap. There is a buttonhole in the left lapel. There are three buttons at each cuff. At the back, it is straight-cut and has a single vent.
Internally, the jacket is fully lined and has no fewer than four internal pockets, three on the left side and one on the right.
The exterior is in practically perfect condition. The only points worth mentioning are on the inside: there is some minor discolouration to the lining around the armholes, as well as a small mark left by a previous label. Please study the photos and form your own impression of the condition.
