DESCRIPTION
This tweed jacket is of Swedish origin. It was produced by Rang sometime during the latter half of the 1960s and was sold new at Sterns, a menswear shop in Norrköping. It is made from a substantial blue-grey tweed cloth with a moderately prominent checked pattern in dark blue.
The jacket is single-breasted and fastens with three buttons. It has horizontal front pockets with flaps, with an additional flap on the right side. It has a breast pocket and a buttonhole in the left lapel. There is one button at each cuff. At the back, it is straight-cut and has double vents. Internally, the jacket is fully lined and has three internal pockets: one large pocket on each side, plus an additional pocket just above the one on the left.
As for the condition, the exterior is practically perfect. There is, however, some wear to the lining, as the previous owner kept a pen in the internal pocket for rather too long. If you lift the collar, there is also a small hole in the cloth underneath. This is not visible when the jacket is worn, however, and is not something that needs to be taken into consideration at all; the damage is so insignificant that we would consider it negligible. Please study the photos and form your own impression of the condition.
