DESCRIPTION
This long work coat is of Swedish origin, most likely produced sometime during the 1950s. It is deadstock – in other words, it has never been worn and still has the original tags attached to the lapel. It’s made from sanforised cotton fabric, described on the label as having “very high durability” – a claim we can confidently confirm. The colour is rather distinctive: best described as a matte green with a hint of grey.
It features large external front pockets and a generously sized external chest pocket. At the back, there’s a high vent, and the waist is belted. The belt is secured on the right-hand side.
The condition is pristine in the sense that there is no wear whatsoever – it has never even been tried on. However, it has been stored folded for several decades, which means faint crease lines may be visible. These typically disappear after washing. Please examine the photos carefully and judge the condition for yourself.
SIZE
The coat is marked “51” on the inside. Based on the actual measurements, it corresponds to a modern EU 50 Long (UK/US 40L). Both the sleeve length and overall length are generous, so someone around 190 cm (6'2") should be able to wear this coat comfortably. Please scroll down for the exact measurements.
