DESCRIPTION
This jacket is of Swedish origin and was most likely produced sometime during the 1940s by Algots – a well-known Swedish manufacturer of ready-to-wear clothing. It was made for the Swedish Army, as revealed by a few discreet stamps on the inside. The fabric is a durable beige cotton twill.
It is single-breasted with a total of five front buttons. The jacket features large external front pockets with oversized flaps and button closures. It also has buttoned shoulder epaulettes and buttoned cuffs. The back is closed – there is no vent. The interior is completely unlined.
The condition is very good, with no visible signs of wear. Please study the photos and form your own impression of its condition.
