DESCRIPTION
These trousers are of Swedish origin and were most likely tailored sometime during the 1950s. They were probably once part of a full suit, but they work perfectly well as standalone trousers. They are navy blue in colour with a fine pinstripe pattern. The front features a single pleat and slightly slanted side pockets. The fly is zip-fastened, and there are belt loops at the waist. On the inside of the waistband, there are buttons for braces. At the back, there are two pockets – one on each side – both with button closures.
The external condition is near perfect. The only minor issue is some slight discolouration in the lining, but this isn’t visible when worn and does not affect the overall impression. Please refer to the photos to form your own opinion of the condition.
SIZE
The waist size sits right between a modern EU 48 (UK/US 38) and EU 50 (UK/US 40). There is extra fabric in both the waist and length, so they can be adjusted to fit either size comfortably. Please scroll down for exact measurements and seam allowances.
