DESCRIPTION
This coat stands out slightly in that it is as lightweight as a heavier trench coat, yet dark and relatively formal in style. It is of Swedish origin, tailored by Steens Herrmode in Stockholm, most likely around 1950. The fabric is black with a subtle twill texture.
The coat is single-breasted and fastens with three buttons, featuring a concealed placket. It has slightly slanted front pockets, and there is a buttonhole on the left lapel. The back is straight and features a single vent. The interior is fully lined and includes two large inner pockets — one on each side.
The overall condition is good, with no damage to the fabric or any noteworthy signs of wear. Please study the photos to form your own impression of the condition.
SIZE
The coat corresponds to a modern EU 52 (UK/US 42). Please scroll down for the exact measurements and seam allowances.
