SWEDISH 1930/1940S DARK BLUE PATTERNED RHODIA SILK TIE

DESCRIPTION

This tie bears no labels other than one reading “Rhodia”, which makes it difficult to determine its exact origin; however, it was most likely produced in Sweden. Rhodia silk was a type of artificial silk that became popular from the late 1930s through to the 1950s.

It is dark blue in colour with a large-scale pattern in light blue and grey.

The condition is good, with no obvious defects. Please study the photographs and form your own view as to the condition.
