DESCRIPTION
This beautiful three piece suit dates back to the 1930s and is of Swedish origin. It was sold at the PUB department store in Stockholm. The jacket has a three row double breasted closure of which two rows are used. It has horizontal front pockets with flaps and one breast pocket. The jacket has a plain back with no vent. It is fully lined and has two inner pockets, one on each side. Note the way the lining goes around the inner pockets, this is very typical for Swedish 1930s (and earlier) suits and coats. The waistcoat has a six button closure, four front pockets and one adjuster in the back. It is fully lined and has one inner pocket with button closure. The trousers are double pleated and has belt loops and buttons for braces. They have a button fly with hook closure in top. They have vertical front pockets and two back pockets, both with button closure. The trousers have an adjuster in the back. They have turn ups. The overall condition of the suit is great considering its age. There is some light discoloration to the lining of the waistcoat but nothing that will affect the overall impression when worn. Please have a look at the images and evaluate the condition.
