DESCRIPTION
This overcoat is of Swedish origin, produced sometime during the 1940s or possibly early 1950s by Rappson, a well-known Swedish manufacturer of ready-to-wear clothing. It is crafted from a heavy dark grey wool fabric with a twill weave.
The coat features a concealed front fastening with three buttons. It has slightly slanted front pockets, and the back is straight with a single vent. Inside, the coat is fully lined and includes two internal pockets—one on each side—both with flaps and button closures. Above the right-hand pocket is Rappson’s signature logo: the white sighthound.
The overall condition of the coat is very good. The only minor issue worth noting is some minimal wear on one of the buttonholes, but this does not affect the overall impression. Please study the photos carefully to form your own opinion of the condition.
