DESCRIPTION
This suit is of Swedish origin, tailored sometime during the latter half of the 1960s by Pingvin, a Swedish ready-to-wear brand. It was originally sold at NK (Nordiska Kompaniet), a well-known department store in Stockholm that still exists today. The suit is made from a medium-grey fabric with a subtle heathered texture.
The jacket is single-breasted with three buttons. It features horizontal front pockets with flaps and a breast pocket. There is a buttonhole on the left lapel. The back is straight with double vents, which is typical of the period. The interior is fully lined with a total of four inner pockets: one large pocket on each side, plus two smaller pockets on the left side.
The trousers have a crease down the front, slightly angled front pockets, a zip fly, and belt loops. At the back, there are two welted pockets, both secured with buttons.
Overall, the suit is in good condition, except for a repair on one of the legs. This repair is located just below the left back pocket of the trousers. It is not particularly noticeable unless you are aware of it, but it should be considered when evaluating a potential purchase. Please study the images carefully to form your own assessment of the condition.
