DESCRIPTION
This suit is of Swedish origin, produced sometime during the 1950s by SIR. It is made from a rather unique fabric, a green mingled wool. The jacket is single-breasted and fastened with three buttons. It has horizontal front pockets with flaps and a breast pocket. There is a buttonhole on the left lapel. The back is straight and lacks vents. Inside, the jacket is fully lined and has two inner pockets, one on each side.
The trousers are characteristic of the era, with double pleats, belt loops, and slightly slanted front pockets. Inside the waistband, there are buttons for braces. They have a zip fly, and at the back, there are two pockets, both with flaps and button closures.
The condition is generally good, with no visible damage to the fabric. However, there are some discolorations in the lining, particularly in the trousers. This is not noticeable when the suit is worn. One thing to note is that the bottom button on the jacket is mismatched. This is not immediately noticeable but can be seen upon closer inspection of the buttons. Of course, all buttons can be replaced to make them identical. Please study the pictures and form your own opinion about the condition.
