DESCRIPTION
This ski suit lacks a label, but it is most likely of Swedish origin and dates back to the 1930s. This style of short jackets was particularly common in sports fashion during the 1930s. It is made from a dark blue, heavy twill fabric. The jacket features wide lapels and is double-breasted. At the bottom, it is cut like a waistcoat. It has two horizontal front pockets. The back is plain. The jacket is fully lined and has two inner pockets, one on each side.
The trousers are of the knickerbocker style and feature double front pleats, diagonal front pockets, and a zip fly. Just below the waistband on the right side, there is a pocket that closes with a zipper. Inside the waistband, there are buttons for braces. The trousers have two back pockets, both with flaps and button closures. They can also be worn with a belt, as the belt is partially concealed in a channel, so called tunnel loop.
Regarding the condition, there is nothing to complain about; there are no obvious signs of use, except for the fact that the trousers have been let out at the waist at some point. This can of course be restored if desired. Please take a look at the images and form your own opinion regarding its condition.

SIZE
The size corresponds to approximately a modern EU 44-46 (US/UK 34-36). A person who wears a size 46 will be able to wear the suit with a tight fit. As mentioned earlier, the trousers have been let out a few centimetres at the waist, but this can, of course, be restored if desired. Please scroll down for the exact measurements and seam allowance.
