This suit is of Swedish origin and was most likely made in the late 1940s. It is from the brand Elson, a well-known Swedish ready-to-wear label. The suit is crafted from black wool with a subtle twill texture.
The jacket is double-breasted with three button rows, of which two are functional. It features vertical front pockets. Both the button placement and the vertical pockets are very typical of the late 1940s and early 1950s. There is a buttonhole on each lapel, and the lapels themselves are generously sized. The back has a belt detail. Inside, the jacket is fully lined and has two interior pockets, one on each side.
Overall, the condition is excellent. There is only one minor flaw to note: a small damage in the fabric on the inside of one lapel. This is not visible when the jacket is worn. Please study the photos carefully to form your own impression of the condition.
