DESCRIPTION
This covert coat is almost certainly bespoke, although it bears no labels indicating who made it. It appears to be of Swedish origin, most likely produced sometime during the 1930s. The coat is black and made from a heavy wool fabric typical of the period.
It features a black velvet collar and is single-breasted with a concealed button closure. The coat fastens with three buttons and has horizontal front pockets with flaps. There is a buttonhole on the left lapel. The back is straight with a vent. The interior is fully lined with black silk and includes two inner pockets with button closures, one on each side.
The overall condition is excellent, giving the impression of being virtually new. The only sign of wear is very slight abrasion around the front buttons, but due to the concealed fastening, this is barely noticeable unless examined very closely. Please study the photos to form your own impression of the condition.
