DESCRIPTION
This overcoat was most likely tailored sometime during the 1940s, or possibly the early 1950s, and is of Swedish origin. It is made by Rang, a brand produced by AB Kläderfabriken – a manufacturer based in Nässjö, a small town in southern Sweden. The coat is made from a heavy dark grey wool fabric with a subtle herringbone pattern.
It is double-breasted with three rows of buttons, plus an additional button that allows it to fasten all the way up to the neck. The front features horizontal pockets, and there is a buttonhole on each lapel. The back is straight with a single vent. The interior is fully lined and includes two inner pockets – one on each side.
The condition is overall very good – nearly mint. The only flaw is a small hole in the lining, which is not visible when the coat is worn. Please refer to the photos to form your own impression of the condition.
