DESCRIPTION
This fine tweed overcoat is of Swedish origin and was both produced by and sold at Nordiska Kompaniet in Stockholm – one of the city's most iconic department stores. It is tailored from a heavy tweed fabric with tones of beige, green, and light brown. Overall, however, it gives a light green impression. This type of tweed is commonly seen in jackets from the same era, but rarely in overcoats.
The coat is single-breasted and fastens with three light brown leather buttons. It features vertical front pockets and a buttonhole on the left lapel. The back is straight with a single vent. Inside, it is fully lined and has two inner pockets – one on each side.
The condition is overall excellent. The only sign of wear is some minor fraying at the buttonholes, but this does not detract from the overall impression.
Please study the photos carefully to form your own opinion of the condition.
SIZE
The coat corresponds to a modern EU size 48 (UK/US 38). As with all overcoats, the fit will depend largely on what you wear underneath. Please scroll down for exact measurements.
