This heavyweight chesterfield coat most likely dates back to the 1910s. Is was made bespoke, but there are no tailor labels so we cannot tell by which tailor this coat was commissioned. There is a label on the left inside with the original owners initials. This is very typical for Swedish coats from the first decades of the 20th century. The coat is made in a black cloth and has a black velvet collar. It has a three row double breasted closure of which all three rows are used. It has horizontal front pockets with flaps and it has one button hole in each lapel. It has two inner pockets, one on each side. Due to their weight these coats were usually equipped with a metal chain loop in the neck, so is this one. The overall condition is great, the coat is perfectly wearable. But there are some small damages to the cloth that has to be mentioned. There is one small damage close to the left lapel, there is also a small damage on the left shoulder and another one on the right shoulder. Please have a look at the images and evaluate the condition.
