DESCRIPTION
This leather jacket is of Swedish origin. It was produced by Masens Skinnindustri in Malung and was made sometime during the 1950s or 1960s. Malung was the centre of Sweden's leather industry for much of the 20th century. This type of jacket is commonly referred to in Sweden as a "bryggarfrack" (brewers tailcoat). It is double-breasted and lacks a collar. It fastens with a total of five button rows and has two front pockets with flaps. It also has a breast pocket, which also features a flap. The back of the jacket has a buckle to adjust the size, and it lacks a vent. Inside, it is fully lined with wool fabric and has an inner pocket on the left side.
The condition is overall good, and the leather is soft and in good condition. However, there are some small damages and scuffs on the leather. Please review the photos and form your own opinion on the condition.
