GERMAN 1950S/1960 BROWN TRILLBY FELT HAT BY MAYSER. SIZE EU 56,5

DESCRIPTION 

This hat is of German origin and was made by Mayser, a well-known German hat manufacturer. It dates from the 1950s, or possibly the 1960s. The hat was originally sold new by the shop Larson & Gammerudh in Karlskoga, western Sweden.

The hat is dark brown in colour and features a nicely matched light brown hatband. The interior is fully lined with a yellow-brown silk fabric bearing the manufacturer’s logo at the base. It has a dark brown leather sweatband with both the maker’s and the importer’s names stamped in gold.

The condition is excellent, effectively as new, except for one thing -  The sweatband shows some damage in two areas; however, this does not appear to be the result of wear. The hat has most likely been worn very little, if at all. Please review the images and form your own assessment of the condition.
