1920S/1930S BLACK HOMBURG FELT HAT BY ZENITH. SIZE EU 57

DESCRIPTION 

This hat is by the brand Zenith. We are not aware of any hat manufacturer by this name, but based on the hat itself we conclude that it was most likely produced during the 1920s or 1930s. It was imported into Sweden and sold new by Paul U. Bergström, a well-known department store in Stockholm.

The hat is black in colour and features a matching black hatband and edge binding. Inside, it is lined with light-coloured silk, bearing the “Zenith” logo at the base of the crown. The retailer’s name is also present in the lining. It has a light brown leather sweatband, which is additionally stamped with the original owner’s initials.

Overall, the condition is good, though there is some wear visible upon closer inspection. There are a few small marks on the brim, and slight wear can also be seen on the edge binding. Please study the photographs carefully to form your own impression of the condition.
