DESCRIPTION
This hat is of British origin and was produced by Lincoln Bennett & Co, a classic British hat manufacturer. The hat most likely dates from the 1910s or 1920s. It was imported to Sweden and sold new by Paul U. Bergström, a well-known department store in Stockholm.
The hat is light grey in colour and features a dark grey hatband. Inside, the crown bears the manufacturer’s logo as well as the retailer’s name. It has a light brown leather sweatband, which in addition to both logos is also stamped with the original owner’s initials.
In terms of condition, the overall impression is good. However, there are some minor flaws that become apparent upon closer inspection. For example, there are a few areas of damage to the felt on the outside of the crown, as well as some damage to the underside of the brim. Please study the photographs carefully to form your own assessment of the condition.
SIZE
The inner circumference of the hat measures 53,5 centimeters. It can be stretched approximately half a size using a hat stretcher. Please scroll down for exact measurements.
