ITALIAN CONTEMPORARY BLUE-BLACK FEDORA DEADSTOCK HAT SIZE EU 58

DESCRIPTION 

This hat is of Italian origin and was produced by the legendary Italian hatmaker Borsalino. It is deadstock, meaning it has never been worn, and it still has the original tag attached to the sweatband. We describe it as “contemporary”, as it is considerably younger than the hats we usually sell, though it is by no means newly made - the orange colour of the label suggests that the hat may date from the 1990s.

In colour, it is blue- black and features a black hatband. The felt has a subtle blue tone to it, but is primarily perceived as black; it is only upon closer inspection that the blue nuance becomes apparent. The knot of the bow bears Borsalino’s logo in gold. The interior is lined with a blue-black silk fabric carrying the manufacturer’s logo. It has a black leather sweatband, which also features the logo stamped in gold.

As for condition, it is absolutely perfect; it is clear that the hat has never been worn. Please study the photographs to form your own opinion of the condition.
