BRITISH 1930S/1940S BLACK HOMBURG FELT HAT BY PERCY JONES & CO. SIZE EU 56

DESCRIPTION 

This hat is of British origin and was produced by Percy Jones & Co, most likely sometime during the 1930s, or possibly a little later. It was imported into Sweden and sold new by a men’s outfitter named Harrys, located in Hudiksvall in central Sweden.

In colour, it is black and features a matching black hatband and edge binding. The interior is lined with a light silk fabric bearing the logos of both the manufacturer and the retailer. It has a light brown leather sweatband, which also features the manufacturer’s logo.

As for condition, the exterior is completely flawless, virtually as new. The only wear to note is found on the interior - some light rubbing to the brown sweatband. Please study the photographs carefully and form your own opinion of the condition.

The inner circumference of the hat measures 56 centimeters. It can be stretched approximately half a size using a hat stretcher. Please scroll down for exact measurements.
