ITALIAN 1930S/1940S BLACK FELT HAT BY BORSALINO. SIZE EU 56,5

DESCRIPTION 

This hat is of Italian origin and was produced by the legendary hatmaker Borsalino, most likely sometime during the 1930s or 1940s. It was imported into Sweden and sold new by Leonard Peterson, a hatmaker in Stockholm.

In colour, it is black and features a matching black hatband. The interior is lined with black silk with a gold-coloured base. The lining bears both the manufacturer’s and the importer’s logos. The hat has a black leather sweatband, which also displays both logos.

The condition is excellent, with no significant signs of wear, though there may be very slight wear on the sweatband. Please study the photographs carefully and form your own opinion of the condition.

The inner circumference of the hat measures 56,5 centimeters. It can be stretched approximately half a size using a hat stretcher. Please scroll down for exact measurements.
