CZECHOSLOVAK 1930S/1940S BLACK HOMBURG FELT HAT BY HÜCKEL. SIZE EU 55,5

DESCRIPTION 

This hat is of Czechoslovak origin and was produced by the well-known hatmaker Hückel, which at the time had its production in what was then Czechoslovakia. It was imported into Sweden and sold new by HJ Söderberg, a clothing company based in Uppsala, just north of Stockholm.

In colour, it is black and features a matching hatband and edge binding. The interior is lined with a light silk fabric bearing the manufacturer’s logo. It has a light brown leather sweatband, which carries both the manufacturer’s and the importer’s logos.

The condition is excellent. The only point to note is some slight discolouration to the lining, a result of age. This is of course not visible when the hat is worn. Please study the photographs carefully and form your own opinion of the condition.

The inner circumference of the hat measures 55,5 centimeters. It can be stretched approximately half a size using a hat stretcher. Please scroll down for exact measurements.
