BRITISH 1930S/1940S DARK BROWN FEDORA FELT HAT BY CHRISTYS. SIZE EU 56

DESCRIPTION 

This hat is of British origin and is made by Christys, a well-known British hatmaker that remains in operation to this day.

In colour, it is dark brown and features a matching hatband with a slight greenish hue. The interior is lined with a champagne-coloured silk fabric bearing the manufacturer’s logo. It has a light brown leather sweatband, which again features the logo, as well as text stating the country of origin and “hand made”.

The condition is excellent, except for a few small marks on the hatband. It has likely been worn very little, if at all. Please study the photographs carefully and form your own opinion of the condition.

The inner circumference of the hat measures 56 centimeters. It can be stretched approximately half a size using a hat stretcher. Please scroll down for exact measurements.
