BRITISH 1930S/1940S BLACK HAT BY STETSON. SIZE EU 55,5

DESCRIPTION 

This hat is by Stetson, a brand most people know as American. However, this particular hat was produced in England under licence, which is why we describe it as British. It was most likely made sometime during the 1930s or 1940s and was imported into Sweden and sold new by the firm O.A. Persson, a men’s outfitter located in Delsbo, in central Sweden.

In colour, it is black and features a matching black hatband. The interior is lined with a light silk fabric bearing the manufacturer’s logo. It has a light brown leather sweatband displaying both the manufacturer’s and the importer’s logos.

As for condition, it is very good. The sweatband shows no signs of wear at all, and the hat appears virtually unused. Please study the photographs carefully and form your own opinion of the condition.
